Assessment as Dialogue

Many are now questioning the role of exams and whether there can be a better method of assessment in school. Assessment as Dialogue gives Twenty Inspiring Practices from Classrooms and Schools around Europe. The book covers all stages of a child’s school life.

This video shows one of the examples, a school in Amsterdam called Magic Lantern.

The book was launched at a meeting of the Alliance for Childhood’s European Network Group and is the result of a collaboration of Learning4Wellbeing, European Council of Steiner Waldorf Education (ECSWE), the Hungarian Waldorf Federation, the Life Long Learning Platform and the Alliance for Childhood.
